How the Mog Your Friends test works
Upload any group photo. Our AI finds every face with 68-point facial landmark detection, then gives each one a Face Score — a perceived-impression percentile from a model validated against averaged human attractiveness ratings. The highest Face Score wins the podium.
Looking to rate your friend group? Want to know which friend is hottest without actually asking? This is the tool. Detection and scoring happen entirely in your browser - no photo is uploaded, stored, or shared.
Mog score, mog rating, mog scale — what people are asking for
The searches arrive in a dozen forms — mog score, mog rating, mog scale, mog check, mogging test, mog test face, mog face test, face mog test — and they all want one thing: a number that says whether you outclass the people around you. So it is worth saying plainly that there is no official mog scale. Nobody publishes one. The looksmax community borrows the PSL tiers for it, and everyone else falls back on out of ten.
The tool names vary as much as the phrasings. People look for a mog scan, a mog tester, a mog rater, a mog rating website, or simply ask something to mog rate a photo. Others name the machine — a mog score ai, a mog ai rating, an ai mog rating — and others the arithmetic, a mog score test, a mog score calculator, a free mog rating. All of them land here, and all of them get the same answer: the comparison below, at no cost, rather than a single invented number. Whether you phrase it as a mogging face test, a mog face test online, or simply do I mog, this is the test.
The deeper problem with a mog score is that mogging is not a property of a face. It is a comparison. The same face mogs one group and gets mogged by the next, and neither reading tells you anything new about the face — only about who was standing next to it.
That is why this is a group tool and not a mog calculator. Upload the photo and every face is measured the same way, so what you actually read is the gap between them rather than a number invented for one person. A face scored on its own has nothing to mog.
If you want the tier names the community actually uses — sub5, LTN, MTN, HTN, Chadlite, Chad — the PSL score chart maps each one to a percentile band, and the glossary defines the rest of the dialect.
FAQ
Is this group face rating accurate?
Rankings use our Face Score model, trained on averaged human attractiveness ratings (60 raters per face) and cross-validated at r≈0.80 against those ratings. It's a real signal, not a coin flip — but it's still one model's read of one photo, so treat the podium as entertainment, not a verdict.
Who mogs who - what does that mean?
"Mogging" is looksmaxxing slang for visually outclassing someone in a photo. The podium shows you who mogs the rest of the group on the validated Face Score.
Do you store my group photo?
No. All face detection and scoring runs client-side in your browser using TensorFlow.js. Your photo is never stored.
Is this a mog calculator?
Not in the sense of a formula that returns a mog number. There is no such number to return — mogging only exists between two faces. What you get is every face in the photo scored on the same validated percentile, and the distance between them.
How does the mog AI scan faces in a photo?
The mog face scanner places 68 landmark points on each face it finds, then reads the geometry between them. Those measurements feed the Face Score model, which was cross-validated at r ≈ 0.80 against averaged human ratings, 60 raters per face. It runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Mog scanner, mog detector, mog checker — are these different things?
No. Those are all names people give the same idea, and there is no standard behind any of them: a mog scanner, a mog detector, a mog analyzer and a mog checker all describe a tool that looks at faces together and says who reads strongest. What differs is what each returns. This one gives every face the same validated percentile and shows the distance between them, instead of inventing a single mogscore that would mean nothing on its own.
How do I tell if I mog my friends?
Upload one photo with everyone in it. Every face is measured the same way, so a do I mog test is really just a comparison — the mog rank is the distance between faces, not a property of yours. A mogging scale would need a fixed reference point and there is not one, which is why the result here is an order and a gap rather than a number out of ten.
Can I do a mog check on just myself?
You can scan a solo photo on the looksmaxxing test, which returns your percentile and a 17-metric breakdown. But that is a face score, not a mog score — there is nobody to outclass in a photo of one person. Mogging needs a second face.
